Hisaab Barabar
The tale is of a humble Indian Railways ticket checking clerk, Radhe Mohan Sharma, whom the Indian Railways had employed. The account balance of one rupee is the difference, which Ramadhere (Radhe), a person known for his accounting skills, detects instantly. Ostensibly, it could have been a minor issue, but in reality, he has stumbled upon a major financial crime, namely, the robbery of a prominent banker, Micky Mehta. Even though as the issue is further explored, Radhe realizes that it is not easy to go against the tide and it is extremely difficult to fight corruption. Rahde's decision is to expose the truth and bring a crooked banker to justice, no matter how insurmountable the hindrances.
Hisaab Barabar Explained
Hisaab Barabar is a satire which begins in a dramatic way and portrays the common people as the victims of the greed of big business. The film was interesting because of the portrayal of the real-life ordinary people and the illuminating on the ethical issues of financial responsibility and honesty in the banking industry are genuine problems. It is uplifting and thought-provoking to witness the journey of a modest train ticket checker who only becomes a whistleblower when he strictly adheres to the principles of honesty (role was played by R. Madhavan). Thus, it becomes a movie that is inspiring, enlightening as well as very funny, about the courage it takes to go from a simple train ticket inspector to a whistleblower.
Contacting the movie director, Radhe, who is in the operating room and still asks for confirmation from the sect, the film's theme thus entered the conversation. Besides the lead roles, there is also the presence of additional characters, the main characters of this film, such as Neil Nitin Mukesh who will impersonate Micky Mehta and Kirti Kulhari who will reproduce in the narrative the significant traits that constitute the plot of the film. Marianna Palka, Saibal Chatterjee of NDTV wrote that even though the movie was rated with two stars by him, he only appreciated Freida Pinto and Rupinder Nagra as the best things about this movie by saying that this was a "one that swings between the mildly droll and stodgily solemn and withers before it even finds a mean number that would compensate for all the well-intentioned efforts.” The movie was bashed by Shubhra Gupta who didn’t like the movie so much and gave it a rating of 1.5 out of 5. She said the execution was 'contrived and clunky' too.
However, some of the reviews didn’t share the same opinion. The picture was not only filled with very empathetic personas, but it also covered some of the financial aspects and was praised by many viewers. R. Madhavan’s part was strongly approved of by the people, and through his skill of bringing the character of Radhe Mohan to life, he was praised. It is not taken away from the fact that Hisaab Barabar is a film that needs to be watched because people begin to think of what their actions mean beyond it being a number.
Is it on ZEE5?
For Hisaab Barabar, Netflix is currently unavailable. Though a mainstream Indian streaming channel, ZEE5 was the platform where the movie got its release and then it was not part of Netflix’s collection. Supporters of Hisaab Barabar can have the pleasure of ZEE5 as the latter has made it available for streaming.
Is it a Good One?
Hisaab Barabar makes the matter neutral when they confirm that the quality depends on how much the audience wants or expects. As for the reviewers, some of them could not really get who played some characters and if the movie was taking away. thematically there was a match between the characters and the message of the film that is also an issue of most people. The animation is light even when there is a lot of drama and comedy labelled together.
Hisaab Barabar tells the story of a money fraud and ethical problems if a film of this type is appealing to you then you can go ahead and watch it. Putting aside that if you are in a mood to see something powerful, emotion-filled and really important, then this is not the right picture for you. Hisaab Barabar finally wants people to understand that the film is not all about comedy and drama, but the society also a major part of it. It is the kind of movie that you might not figure out whether you like it or not and the only way to get to like it is if you like such a genre.
