Story: The Good Doctor Full Hd Movie- Shaun Murphy, a young surgeon with autism and savant syndrome, goes through his residency at a famous hospital, overcoming obstacles and misconceptions while solving challenging medical situations.
The Good Doctor Full Hd Movie: Most performers like acting against type; comedians are constantly seeking for a chance to show they can be “serious” actors. Men who are normally heroes want to be the scenery-chewing villain, and attractive sex symbols want to acquire respect by dressing down and portraying someone “real.”
Orlando Bloom has been a gorgeous and heroic leading man in two extremely popular film series, playing Will Turner in Pirates of the Caribbean. The Curse of the Black Pearl and its two sequels, as well as Legolas in The Lord of the Rings trilogy. So, who can blame him for swallowing the bait when he was offered the chance to portray a character. That is not only malevolent and socially inept. But also has dubious fashion sense and a poor haircut?
Bloom was so keen to act in The Good Doctor that he signed on as a co-producer to boost the film’s marquee value. But the results were likely not what he anticipated. Bloom stars as Dr. Martin Blake, a young physician completing his residency in a California hospital. Blake is a little stuffy and has problems making friends. His first few days aren’t very pleasant when he unintentionally delivers the incorrect prescription to one of his patients.
He gets on the wrong side of Theresa (Taraji P. Henson), the no-nonsense head nurse on his floor. And his error puts him in an unpleasant situation with his supervisor, the nonchalantly mysterious Dr. Waylans (Rob Morrow). One of Blake’s patients is Diane Nixon (Riley Keough), an attractive 18-year-old lady with a kidney illness. Diane plainly likes him. And checking up on her becomes the highlight of his day. So Blake is unhappy when she is discharged to recover at home.
Diane’s family invites Blake home for dinner. He devises a plot to return her to the hospital. He swaps the antibiotics she’s been given with sugar tablets. Diane soon returns to his ward and is under his care again. Blake dives further, substituting her IV drips with various medications and adjusting test results to ensure that the woman he loves does not leave too soon.
Blake gains the respect of Theresa, Waylans, and his other interns as he seems to devote his whole attention to Diane’s increasingly challenging case. But after discovering Blake’s plot, an orderly named Jimmy (played by Michael Pena) insists that the internist buy his silence with his prescription pad.
Orlando Bloom tries his all in The Good Doctor. But although he seems to enjoy portraying a cold, corrupt character for a change. He never comes off as very believable as a terrible person. His crush on Diane seems genuine enough. Riley Keough plays off him well, giving her preoccupied adolescent monotone just enough of a come-hither undercurrent that it’s easy to understand why he’s drawn to her.
But, as played by Bloom, Blake just does not lie effectively or hide his tracks very well. And considering how often he must do both in this plot. It’s difficult to see why so few people can see through him. Michael Pena plays Jimmy with lots of charm and danger. He’s perfect as Blake’s enemy; in fact, one wishes he had played a larger part in the picture early on.
Although Rob Morrow, Taraji P. Henson, and J.K. Simmons largely serve as window decoration in this film. They execute their parts with confidence and add a sense of authenticity that Bloom lacks. John Enbom’s script has the makings of a terrific psychological thriller. Lance Daly directs with a sturdy, workmanlike touch that is light on flair yet delivers the narrative efficiently and elegantly.
But, at its core, The Good Doctor is a story about a guy whose sexual infatuation transforms him into a criminal. Orlando Bloom never seems to have the courage or competence to play the kind of crook this film requires. Perhaps The Good Doctor would have been better off with someone else playing the dishonest Dr. Blake. Bloom stepping in to rescue the day in the last reel.
