The daughter of the slain man, Aedwen is safe only because Dunston has to keep her away from vicious attackers meant to murder her in order to silence a black secret from being exposed. He has to get Wessex in right and atone so he may save everyone from the past while he is attempting to move on.
Characters
The varied and sophisticated character Dunston is a very outstanding model for the one in The Wolf of Wessex. He is a complex and relevant protagonist of a move and motive kind of story as he drives a type of narrative. Of course, there is a counterbalance to Dunston’s character: The little girl, Aedwen, that he shields, who reveals his gentler side, her thematic obligations and honor. The manner the narrator weaves the characters’ interacting and their relationship on the tale composes the story with the flavor of emotions and depth.

The narrative encompasses a variety of identities like: a clash between desire and obligation; the seduction of forgiveness; the costs of loyalty and pain. All of these have been relative in an over flooded captivating worlds which deeply excites me and pulls me into their history. It is so perfect – feels historic. Embedding history into the narrative certainly strengthens the argument and reinforces the issue much sooner and effectively, lending the story authenticity.
